Yeah, that's the finger technique and the bass and bass pre I use. The combination is what I have been looking for for years. I found this bass in a store in Santa Monica Ca. hidden behind a bunch of other ones, and almost didn't buy it, but I did and have had it seen 96. I got it for a real cheap price only to find out that to buy another one would cost in excess of $6k. Stratus makes them now, but they were designed by John Entwistle for Warwick. But they stopped making them after about a hundred were made and sold. John Went to Stratus to get new ones made and they still offer it. The Warwick ones were all different. You can see some of the owners and there Buzzards, that what they are, at http://www.buzzardbass.com. I use nothing but Carvin bass amps. They have the Tone and power and are real cheap compared to the others like Eden and SWR and SVT.

Is that supposed to be a violin? A real violin would do wonders here :) (Smile)

Yeah, I agree, but this was another test of the edirol orchestral modules capabilities. The Sax ain't real either. It's from the same program. Maybe one day I'll actaully be able to pay a realy good violinist and sax player to redo this thing. The good thing about having a program like this is it allows a non-violinist or sax player to write the parts for that instrument using the right phrasings and then print out the score for a real player.

This is seriously insane, but so good. There are so many ways this combination of style and instruments could go wrong, but you manage to make it work. Love the bass in this song; the tone is so killer and playing so tight.

Love music that's complex but still swings. The melodies are so nice, and the guitar and bass are so baaaaad. Sweet.

Thanx all of you for the great kudos. I have a new project with my girlfriend Sara that I should be posting pretty soon. You can hear it at http://www.isound.com/music/totalbs. I will be putting it here pretty soon when we get the whole thing done. It is really killer y'all, I'm real proud of it, and what she does to the music.

This track starts off with a band, very reminiscent of Weather Report/Zawinul... I love it..!
jazz/fusion is such an expressive domain and you represent the polytonal sound scape quite well.
Great syncopation and dynamics!

Jazz fusion...one of my favourite. Really loved the guitar. Some parts reminded me of Mahavishnu.
